Everything must remain true to its nature, its natural order. Temporary deviations are only temporary and balance will always be restored as things revert to order and balance is restored eventually. The creator creates; the sun shines and the wind blows. The Deities just do what they were created to do; they are cosmic energies and obey cosmic laws. If we know what energies they send forth and at what time; then by calling on them appropriately then maybe we can get to fulfil our every wish; by guiding us to the correct path. them
You have to give to receive.
You have to ask and await a response.
The cosmic laws or the laws of nature never change. They need to be studied and understood, but there are certain things that they will never need.
They will never need five or fifteen amendments. They will remain true always.
We just need to understand them.
We can call for energies that we need regardless of our ruling
zodiac. How, what and why will vary depending on the circumstances and our relationship with that energy force. We need to probe the time continuum to see what is available and address our needs accordingly.

Happy New Year - 2011
Here we go on another 365 day journey around the sun.
Everything must change; nothing and no one will remain the same!
I want to start January 2011, a new year and a new season by looking at my understanding of the Kemetic term Zep Tepi.
Zep Tepi
The earliest examples of creation myths in the world are those of the Nile Valley region. These myths chronicle the world emerging from the chaotic waters to usher in a "Golden Age" at the dawn of time referred to as zep tepi or the 'First Time.' They refer to when and how the world was created.
The term however did not just refer to once upon a time, long, long ago. We are looking at a people for whom time was measured both in linear and cyclical ways. So zep tepi although used to refer to the beginning of time when the primeval mound rose out of the chaos, may also be used to refer to the time when the neteru (so called gods and goddesses) were living on earth as well as it may be applied to the beginning of each and every era. The reign of each pharaoh and each dynasty would begin with a measuring of time all over again. This term reminds me of the saying 'today is the first day of the rest of your life.' It reinforces the cyclical references to time and shows us that we can always start over again.
If we start looking at the oldest stories told we could say that from the time that ben-ben arouse out of the waters to when Set murdered his brother was the 'First Time' - (sounds like the Cain and Abel story?) the first zep tepi or the original first time.
Alternatively the period of time from when Heru defeated Set and ascended to the throne could be viewed as 'The Golden Age.' Indeed each successive pharaoh through portraying himself as an incarnation of Heru and standing on Maat and/or governing by Maat would view the beginning of his reign at least, as zep tepi.
The term has also been applied to a divine realm where if the acts of the neteru could become operative in the here and now, if we made a significant change in our spiritual awakening: Then such a transformation could lead to us having our very own 'Golden Age,' New Dawn, or Zep Tepi.
Could 2011 be the start of something new?
Everything must change; nothing and no one will remain the same!
Here we go on another 365 day journey around the sun.
I wish you a meteoric show of blessings during the year ahead.
What is in store for the SEASON ahead?
This is the season of emergence - PROYET
(PRT, Pert or PRT with any vowels to make it pronouncible will do)
We start by looking at season as this can give us a basic understanding of the cosmic forces that are in play at this time. For a people whose annual cycle was based on agriculture it helps to view and discuss what is happening in agricultural terms; and this can be applied looking at physical or spiritual lives.
So during this season of germination and growth: What seeds did you plant last season? The
previous season was Innundation - Akhet. We should have been planting and nurturing 'our
seeds.' What 'seeds'did we plant or sow? Whatever they were they are germinating now.
And If we didn't do or plan anything do we still have time? Certainly we do especially in the
form of New Years Resolutions and plans. Prior planning and planting would have been ideal
but we can still stick a few seeds in and take advantage of this time. GEB (earth), NUT (sky),
SHU (air), HAPI (the Nile) and of course RA (the sun) are all working away to make
everyhing happen just the way it should. If we know how to work with these forces we can
make things happen too. Depending on our zodiac sign and what we want from our seeds we can tap into cosmic energies and transform our reality.
We know that moon phases are important to planting and growth so we will look at them later.
